OT : S&W models 60 and 640

Im not really a firearms lover, but I was firing with this revolver (model 60) one day, and Im very fond of it. I was looking for information (history, technical data) about it on the web, but without success.

I know there are some gun specialists here and I dont want to subscribe to a firearms forum because I dont know much about it !!!
Do you have any source for me ? Book advice, pictures or review ?

Louky - you might want to ask around on www.familyfriendsfirearms.com there are a lot of S&W fans over there, who really like Smith revolvers, who could give you some good info.

I would log on to www.thefiringline.com Although it is no longer active, the ARCHIVES and discussions prevent a wealth of information about any conceivable subject. Use their "search" button, I did, and increased my gun knowledge exponentially. Good luck.
