Do any exp sheathmakers have any tips on a design for a panga style martindale machete? For a pic its at cutsforth knives (750-560-01 22 model 750-560-01 22" blade). Its swept back toward the tip and I am at a loss on how to house the blade....

John can you provide a link to cutsforth knives? I could search but I'm too lazy.;)

Thanks John, that helped.:D Cool knife!

If it were me I would make it an open backwards sheath in that the knife would be open almost all along the spine except for an area up to the widest part of the round bend ( at an angle across instead of straight) where the knife could be sort of swiveled in. From there on up two or three loops with good heavy snaps would keep the blade in place.
I don't know how I could clarify that but I'll try if you don't get the picture I'm seeing.:D

Looks like a good candidate for a Sisko sheath. Is he still making sheaths? I know he stoped rehandling due to his wifes health.

last heard, Terry Sisko wasn't taking new orders, he had a two and one half month backlog, as well as a fulltime job.

He may have an update.
