I finally put Win. 98 on this machine and the Opera Browser. Things work much better at least they are faster than what I had before.
I got a new email address todday too. <jpeasley@wt.net> I'll enjoy this forum even more now that things are speeded up just a bit.:)

once you start using mousestrokes for navigation it'll be a painful chore to use Internet Explorer again.

Good choice

Being new to the opra browser I'm not sure how to add bookmarks. when I clicked the bookmark there were so many choices that it seemed a bit confusing. Just old age I guess.:)

I just made the jump from 95 to XP and still trying to get it digested. Good luck, Pappy, because if you are like me you're going to need all you can get.

The windows 98 doesn't bother me like I thought it might. Getting to know all the goodies on the Opera browser is the prblem I have now.:)

4 ways.

Simplest....Right-click on the window's tab &
drag it to a Personal toolbar window on the screen.
or
Ctrl-T,
R-click on page & "Add to Bookmarks",
or L-click Bookmarks in Menu & select "Add Page Here"

The folder shown selected will be the folder the bookmark is put into.

You're right Opera has lots of options.

One (out of many) of my favorites is the page zoom,
to increase or decrease the size of the page & pictures displayed.
Helps see content & fit content.

Toggle print preview is handy too.

And page tabs for each window.
