Honey in the comb.
Dice comb into tiny bits and stir.
Spread onto lightly toasted, hearty, fresh-baked bread.
Sometimes a tiny bit of light olive oil or butter first.
Sit down with a glass of cold milk.
Enjoy every bit and bite.
;)

Never had the opportunity to sample that kind of pleasure in life. But it sounds delicious. Perhaps one day when I visit a bee farm. :)

Fried green tomatoes, buttermilk biscuits, fresh turnip greens, and Vidalia onions. Wash 'em down with a pork chop or two and some iced tea so sweet it makes you dizzy.;)

Skippy peanut butter pasted onto a fresh slice of thick bread with a generous helping of tasty margarine !!

Watching the sun rise at around 04h50 back home in Durban, South Africa while sitting on my surfboard waiting for a good wave and having dolphins swim all around you !!

Grilled cheese sandwiches with Tillamook chedder snuggled under a blanket with my girl watchin TV. :D

Watching the sunrise from the side of a mountain on opening day of hunting season.

A glass of red wine or a dark amber beer

with

a 2 inch, bone in,heavily marbled, rib steak- dusted with lemon pepper and garlic salt and seared under the broiler or better yet on a charcoal grill.

Good friends, good food, good wine and beer, and after dinner good scotch around a fire. I'll be doing that for the second week of August.

On, that note Sarge, are you going to make it to Pensic this year?

Spending weekend with good friends, shooting, setting off fireworks, playign with the kids(not mine, that's the best part) and eating home made vanilla ice cream that you worked crank on freezer yourself scooped over home made peach cobbler that you helped tend fire for(cooked over coals in dutch oven).

Did that last weekend. Caught strep and the flu from the kids, wouldn't trade it anwyays. those weekends are only time I can see starts too, can't see jack here in teh city.

Coming home from a cr**py day at work, bone tired physically, mentally, and emotionally, walking in the door and my 7 year old son taking a running leap onto my back, hugging me hard and asking how my day was. Then my 13 year old daughter giving me a hug while saying "I'm glad you're home, daddy." Then my wife ordering me to change into sweatpants and ratty t-shirt while she plates up dinner.

Wow, I am boring.

:D
