As a Boston native and Red Sox fan, you could say 13-1 in the 5th makes me smile. :D Anyone else watching the game, and who's your favorite for the series?

Watching here... Go Boston...

I would have rather seen the Nationals in there, but they were horrid this season... :(

There seemed to be a lot of that going around this season with various teams. Just happens that way sometimes. I'm surprised the score tonight is so lop-sided. I think the Rocks are just having one of those nights. :o

9 days off is a lot. Especially at the end of the season...

8 days off or not, Colorado is getting spanked GO SOX!! Josh was on the money as was everyone else!

Jordan's Furniture did a promo last spring - if hte Sox win the whole thing, your furniture is free if you buy it on this certain day. Think of how many folks are PITP's over this. 3 more games is all they can think about.

The commercials I've seen running tonight say something in the area of 30,000. I can't imagine it's that many people, but that's what the Jordan's guy said. Imagine if each of those sales was only for $100. Now imagine how much each of those sale really was and tell me Jordan's isn't passing a stone right now.:D

I was in Jordan's the final day of the sale (it ran from March 7-April 16). They have an Imax, a Jelly Belly store and a Richardson's Ice Cream place in there.
I asked an employee about the deal and he said the insurance policy was HUGE!!! We have friends who bought a living room set and are pretty psyched right about now.

Go Sox!

After the point spread got to about 9 it almost got boring. However being a true Sox fan I knew that the game could still have been lost even with that margin.

BTW a friend's in laws bought furniture for their whole HOUSE when they heard of the Jordan's deal. Figured they needed the stuff anyway, why not have a chance they could get it free?

Also, Toxic Hell *ahem* I mean Taco Bell is giving away a free taco to everyone in America if anyone from either team steals a base. The players were actually talking about that in the dugout... "Gimme my taco!!!"
