Great listing, with linked lyrics and maybe chord changes, from what I can tell.

Makes for a nice nostalgic walk down memory lane.

Enjoy.

(Edit to include the opening paragraph of link:

The songs listed on this page were among the most popular in American popular music between the years of 1930 and 1980 -- although inclusion in this list is admittedly arbitrary. I have made no effort to include every song that was popular during any given year, and even the beginning and ending points on this list are fuzzy.

The songs in this index are listed according to the year in which the version shown was popularized, and within that catagory, alphabetically by song name. Songs whose names begin with the word "The," are alphabetized by the second word (for example, "Day That the Rains Came Down, The".)

Sorry Munk.)

What the heck kind of compilation is that? No Beatles songs, lots of Mancini and Streisand? Humperdink, Tom Jones, etc... Yuck.

These were the songs played on juke boxes in bars for old people when the rest of the world was listening to Rock n Roll.

It can't be the Pop charts because the Beatles led that on numerous occasions.

Very strange list.

Omits all rock and roll. No Stones, Beatles, Elvis, Little Richard, etc.

Also omits at least two of the all-time non-rock pop tunes: Shimp Boats and Ballad of Davy Crockett - both of which were No. 1 for week after week after week.
