OT: Talk about good finds..

When we bought our house about 3 years ago, there was this old overturned boat that the last owner left behind in the backyard, covered in some honeysuckle.
Yesterda, a friend of mine helped me to dig it out, (I used my fave WWII khuk) and I didn't realize what a little treasure we had. Turned out to be a 18 footer "John boat", in good condition, just needs a motor, a few life jackets and some fishin' gear!
Life can be sweet sometimes!!!

Make sure you check that boat out real good before you take it in deep water.

Yeah, I'll never forget when my wife turned to me and said, "That's it now; don't cut anymore trees."

I'd culled just about every tree that sagged or looked sideways at me in our yard.

Guilty as charged. It must be either grad school, kids, work, commuting, or maintaining old traditions, but it might be my propensity to sit on the couch.
