I've had him under surveillance for some time now, know his routes, schedule, and mode of transport. 1100hrs CST, I will be in position. Going to break out the lawnmower and weed trimmer, and dress in old jeans, etc., as an unobtrusive cover/camouflage for my true agenda.

Yes my friends, at 1145 hrs CST, that stubby little white truck marked "US MAIL" will be coming down my street from the west, and I'll have the drop on him. My objective is a certain triangular box, inside which is a very rare and special object, fashioned by a very rare and special man out of steel, horn, and bone. For this mission I'll be armed with an ink pen and an ear to ear grin. Wish me luck, failure is not an option.

HIKV? Who me? Bwaaaahahaaaa, there's only one cure.

You forgot to mention that this post is to be read to the tune of Mission Impossible.

There is no cure, only a temporary "fix".

I left the mailman a note to leave anything he brings from Reno, NV on the side porch. Don't dare leave me one of those dreaded peach colored slips that delays my fix for 2 days!

I'm waiting for one too! :D

Once as soldier, always a soldier, eh? Sounds like you've got that theater of operations secured! He'll not make it past the checkpoint without detection.

Nobody go postal, now.

Curses, foiled, he waved as he drove on past, razzin' frazzin'............
That's okay, was prepared for this, there's always Monday and plan B. Think I'll go chop something up with my Siru, that usually cheers me up.

Sarge,

I don't know how to tell you this.... But you won't be disappointed!

How did mine get all the way to NC when you're closer to Bill?:(

This thing is so beautiful, that I feel like I've stolen something from Bill after paying only $70.

Seems like most the orders I make end up on a Wednesday or Thursday which almost always means Monday.

Guess I've become accustomed to it...

Actually, I've been too busy messing with the new E-Nep I got from Rene.

Pics forthcoming...

Speaking of new toys Dan, that Christmas Karda is absolutlely perfect for what I had in mind for it (medieval reenactment). The carving on the handle made me do a double take, the designs the carver chose are straight out of the late middle ages/early renaissance in Europe. Spooky I tell you.

Now that's refined!

-I thought I was a little conspicuous sitting in the snow next to the mailbox.

Finally got my hands on it, well worth waiting for, this one's fit to ride the river with. Bura is a wizard coming up with an "Ang Khola Dhankuta", it's like he took the best features of every regular twelve inch khuk from HI (12" Siru, AK, and Dhankuta) and combined them in a single knife. I'd love to see this one as a regular item, with or without the composite handle. It is precisely what I was looking for in a "household khuk", suitable for a multitude of tasks in the kitchen, garden, or yard. Dust won't get a chance to gather on this one, you can bet on that.

Okay I'm not drooling, really I'm not!:D

Sounds like the perfect small Khuk, be interested in how it uses.:)
