OT: The best gift I ever gave myself

It`s already late Christmas Eve here and I just finished a Late dinner with the wife and daughters. Before that a friend drove me all over the city so I could be Santa Claus for a whole bunch of out friends` kids. Last year was the first time I ever played Santa. Our church asked me if I could do it at the Christmas party, and then before I returned the suit I did it for my wife`s friends. It was so much fun I ordered my own suit the next week. I`m gonna do this every year I can.
If you EVER get the chance to be Santa for a kid, DO IT!! I guarantee it`s the best gift you`ll ever give yourself. When you see the way the kids` faces light up you`ll wish you`d been doing it for years. Sure, once in a while a little ankle biter is scared or too shy to talk with Santa, but most of the time it`s all hugs, pictures and cookies.
Here`s wishing all Hogs everywhere a very Merry Christmas and an INFI New Year. Now I`m off to see if the wife is in the mood to get naughty and nice.

I played Santa once. That was when I discovered they never had the suit drycleaned after the slob-lard-a$$ from the previous year wore it. Nothin better than finding food debris in the moustache and beard.:barf:

I should get a suit, as I already have the build and beard for it...:cool::thumbup:
 
Good for you, Santa! :thumbup: I have great memories of Santa coming to my Grandmother's Christmas Eve parties when I was young. Even after we figured out it was my parent's college buddy, our "Uncle", it was still great fun.
 
It's fun to do for adults, too.

I assume the role for the company holiday party, handing out the door prizes. I have assistants from the senior staff who do the leg work, but I get all the fringe benefits, including the adoration of my fans.
