So as some of ya know about 2 years ago I had a incedent that left me with memory loss and migraines and nerve damage and surgury to have a titanium plate and bone from my hip put in my neck and various other issues. So first thank you all for your support its been great and I've made alot of good friends here and it's all helped alot! So today I did go to the doc and well it's official this is as good as it's gonna get ill be on meds forever and all the rest as said above. So on the upside I don't ever gotta work again on the other what the hell do I do....lol. Still got to deal with a bunch of insurance workers comp bs but I don't know if I can stand not working! But I also get migraines that can affect me for a solid week! So what would you do keep in mind I'd prefer to make extra cash that wouldn't affect my benifits if ya know what I mean! I need more Busse and Gun money!...hehe

There is a guy in my neighborhood that cuts grass for some of the neighbors; I suspect his grass cutting is paid in cash. So in other words, any type of work you could do from home and get paid in cash might help your financial situation and help keep you busy too. Best wishes!

Starting a niche business that includes your love for Busses would be a natural progression, IMHO...

how about starting your own sheath business?... start with your own knife models ...

maybe you could offer the service of crafting cool unique D-guards or lanyards , or lanyard beads...

I'd say keep it small, so that it does not become a "grind" and sour your passion for knives, good luck!

I actully got a nice kydex set up and tried today my 1st sheath for my SARsquatch....I got alot to learn...ha

I'll figure something out. I just don't wanna sit around but I'll get alot of fishing done next year so that's a plus and hopefully some good hunting too!

LO, I wish you the best, Bro. If I was in your shoes, I'd try to hunt & fish myself crazy. If I ever retire, I'll be to old & broke to do squat.

Brother I wish you nothing but the BEST!!! I was hoping to retire on my terms but now I to am going to be forced to retire cause I can't do the physical requirements of my job. I hear every word you are saying. Email me if you want to;)

Keeping your mind active is extremely important, it does not have to be rocket science you are working on, but something that will give you some direction without becoming totally frustrating or a burden... :)

Agreed...but that's what the forums are for...lol.....it's not a big surprise so I'm okay with it but at 36 I got alot of free time and life left so I guess I should start enjoying it and all my free time.

Russ I'll definitły drop you a email! Who knows maybe I'll get up your way for a visit!

I feel for you mate! I'm not quite ready for retirement. Don't know what I'd do, should I find myself not being able to do my job.

Know what they say....idle hands do the devil's work.....;)

I hope that you find something that'll suit you!... Keep us posted :)

Good luck. Hope everything works out for the best Bro. Have fun hunting and fishing! :)

Really hope you continue improving and find a way forward that suits you--not always easy, even when it seems it should be, I know.

Best of luck to you,
Will

I hope something good presents itself to you sooner rather than later.

In the mean time, hunting and fishing are a great way to spend your time! ;)
