OT: Weapons that fly

I'm going to check back with this one when I have more time to digest the whole thing. :)

I think most people can get a hundred yards outta them with the lighter weight darts. I'm currently working on a heavyweight version with a harpoon attached for carp in the local sloughs. Lotsa fun. It's a very cheap hobby as most people make their own throwers and darts. Some states even recognize them for use in their archery seasons for deer and pig-mine ain't one of them.

Looks like fun stuff...

Bet most of it is banned here in the Republik of Kalifornistan though:grumpy:

The Aerobies are awesome though. I've go a small one and it can be hard to find a space big enough to throw it without losing it. If only they floated, they would be perfect.

Oops, I thought you meant this kind of flying toy...

Hmph.

Was discussin' with some other Joes in the DFAQ today what I'd do with 100 million dollars. I told 'em I'd have my own fighter.

Thinking of the A-4, of course. Mebbe the Israeli variant- they had, what, twin-barrel 30mm cannon? :D

DD, what is that KillerDynamoShark armed with and does it have a tailhook?

The Warthog, they are the coolest plane in current use. The coolest plane of all time is the P51-d Mustang though.

Spectre, A-4's have a single barreled canon in each wing root, 20mm in almost all of them. The Israelis were already using French Aden 30mm canons and mounted those instead. The A-4 goes back a long way. It was also used at the Top Gun school to simulate Mig-21's.

Sarge, is that tank a T-55?
