Tomorrow morning, I am going to take the last 1 of 4 sections of the CPA exam, and hopefully will pass. I'm not a natural accountant, but I have a family to support, so it's forced discipline. I'm hoping to get into some kind of regulatory agency to chase down corporate bad guys. (wonder if I could carry a khuk? ;) )

I'm down to my last nerve trying to prepare.

Good thoughts and smoke appreciated.

You got it. It's important to buck up right before putting yourself on the line in an interview or test. Hang in there.

Hey you told me yourself -- you do this stuff in your sleep! :p As one of my favorite physics professors always said when handing out an exam: good luck, and I hope you don't need it! :)

You don't need luck. You have this knocked.

Just relax and enjoy the exam.

Thanks y'all!

MKN- I woke up from dreaming of doing accounting- but I don't know if it was right! So, I guess, I can do accounting in my sleep.
Maybe be with any luck, I won't fall asleep when I'm doing accouting in the morning? :D

Sorry, no good sense of humor tonight.

You guys are the best.

Good luck LR, you've got it! My wife and I both took the professional engineer exam this past year, so I know what you're going through.

I know a fella who left a job as a college degreed state probation officer- went back to college and got his CPA- then went to work for that College's auditing department and has never looked back.

He'll be retiring with a more than adequate retirement pay check and is set for the rest of his life.

Go for it! :D

Did you do what you were supposed to do to get ready? Of course you did! You didn't take it lightly because you're a serious guy. The test just confirms the effort you already put in. 3 down and one to go = around the turn and headed for home.

Would anyone believe me if I said I was a CPA? :D

Good luck on the exam. It is a tough one. It's even harder today than 30 years ago. :)
