This was my week with the rare 1 of 14 clip point Natural Outlaw that ON_THE_EDGE was kind enough to share in a passaround.
I would have liked to have more free time in the week to play with her, but despite the rainy weather and work, I did get to take her out and try a few things.
This is a great knife great blade design with a really nice looking polished spine. The clip point really adds a nice touch and it did not eat up the baton when splitting off a section of wood. I do like the knife, and hope to one day have an outlaw but I dont think the ergo handles are for me.
This was the first time Ive held and ergo blade. When she first arrived, I thought the ergo style was pretty much the same as the fusion style, but after holding them both for a bit, you can tell the subtle differences. So
you all can rest easy and know your ergos are safe with me.
A special thanks to OTE for giving me the chance to try out such a rare Busse and for giving this lil piglet a first time using an Outlaw and an Ergo THANKS Bro!!!
Heres a few pics for you all to enjoy...
First, a lil beauty shot
Ate right thru this dead wood with ease
Bites pretty deep into this pine tree with one chop
Did a little batoning thru a piece of oak I did use a 2nd stick as a wedge to help get thru a knot.
(Dont worry OTE I didnt baton into the concrete block.)
Ill be packing her up to go on out to the next lucky piglet Thanks again Chris!!!
