Over the past week or so, I had the pleasure of spending some time with a great knife that belongs to On_The_Edge, and thought I'd share some pics.

This NOe was the first Ergo I've ever handled. It was very comfortable to use (as you'd expect) and is a great design for this size knife. With the clip point and neutral balance, it struck me at first as more of a fighter. After bummin' around in the woods some, though, it really seemed to enjoy itself! :D

Even without a long blade, it was easy to nip through vines, etc.

This is one whack into a small limb to be used as a walking stick -

Nice blade!!! Looks almost like a Caretaker with a more pronounced swedge.

Greg,

Nice review and pics.
Seems like you are getting in on all the passarounds.

I found one stump that was pure Fatwood, or Fat Lighter, as we used to call it - You can almost smell it

And taking a break. Well, actually I was the one taking a break. The NO was ready for more -

Although the swedge wouldn't lend itself to batonning as well as a full spine, this would certainly make a good "one knife for everything" knife (I know - I don't like the sound of that either :D ).

Thanks for reading all this, and a huge thanks to Chris (OTE) for the opportunity to play with a classic.

Great pics, thanks. Might be the first shots of that model being USED.

Wow - I must type really slow!

Thanks for the responses, guys.

Resinguy, it's always great to get first-hand experience with a classic, especially a custom as limited as this - thanks for the pics!

Dave, I couldn't resist! Almost didn't pull the trigger, but I'm glad I did.

Great pics Greg!!! Hopefully I'll be holding that beauty Thur. I'll PM you when I get it:thumbup:

Kenny, I cleaned it up a bit for you. I think it likes the dirt, though!

Awesome pics, Greg. I'm glad you got a chance to get away from work and life to put her through the paces. Looks like you've got a great playground to play in as well. Thanks for sharing!

Well thank you so very much for ruining my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's one of my dream knives. The TAN CLAN is just begging to add that one to the family.

A great blade.

Can you tell I'm GREEN with envy?

Great pix.

Thanks
