As you can tell from my profile info, I am far from a seasoned member of this forum. I am an avid blade collector and have been since a very young age, as it runs in my family. My grandfather was an airborne ranger in the Second World War who taught my 6 year old father how to throw (and stick) his Kabar into a tree at 10 yards, and it was love at first lob for my father. He instilled the same love into both of his sons and at 6 years old both my brother and myself each got our first knife and we haven't slowed down since. My personal collection is modest, relative to some of you out there, my prized possession being an Emerson CQC-7BK that was an 18th birthday present from my father. I also have other things such as a SOG Seal Pup, Kershaw Speedbump, an old Sharpfinger, a few balis, about a half dozen differently purposes machetes, etc etc. so the bottom line is my collection has arrived at an (I hope) promising start. However, I learned many things from my father, not the least of which was that men were not created to work, think, or fight alone, so asking for help is a sign of honor, not weakness. And I'm here to ask for some help. A friend of mine who is aware of my affinities asked me about a knife and I have absolutely zero idea if such a knife even exists, much less if there are expensive/mid range/cheap options. He wants to know if an OTF exists with a blade like a straight razor. (Similar to the 'barber elite' of gas station fame around here). So essentially, an OTF that has a straight razor style blade. Does ANYONE out there have even the faintest idea if such a thing exists?? Any help/insight any of you could provide would be much appreciated!
