Here is a slick small knife, blade is 3" from point to the edged of the G-10, overall length is 6 1/4"
A stout little knife, blade is ground extremely well and the edge down thin enough that she does cut, but as you can see it's rather POINTY?
Nice job, I'll let Otha pop in and give some details to the steel and and any other questions...

It probably would make an excellent neck knife, it doesn't have a sheath at the moment, but it's small and light enough to hang about the neck easily.

The lanyard is important to mention, he had drilled a hole in the tang, made some reliefs in the scales so that there is a small little hold up underneath each of the scales, so instead of having a hold through the handles, he did it a little slicker than I've ever seen.
Also there are some vertical lines cut into the scales near the front of the handle, nicely done all the way around. Though it be a smallish knife, so you guys with big hands, he'd have to bump up the scale to make one for larger hands...;)

That would make a great neck knife!!! Is "Otha" gonna give us some "specs"? Looks like meaty blade stock prior to the grind.

We must know more! :) ....and thanks for posting the picture...very nice of you!

We'd like the story on this one, please. That is really a slick design! Thanks for sharing, Gary, and don't forget to post a pic of the sheath!:)

Richard, no sheath to picture on this one, it was going to be mine but the handle was a bit small for my hands, close but small so I'm shipping her back today actually and Otha will make a kydex rig for it, he was just out of Kydex at the time and I thought I'd work something out for it.

The steel is 52100, good stuff, and yep she is thick and strong, the way he did the grind is great, the blade narrows down to the edge and the point at the same time, like I said, very pointy!!

So by Wednesday it'll be back in his hands and available I would imagine!

Sorry was oout of town for the holidays. The Blade is 52-100 Blued then oiled. it had Blue/Black G10. It will have a Kydex sheath. It has a hidden Lanyard. This was my 1st hollow grind.

Thanx for the nice comments

Gary- Thanx for posting the pic

Whoa Otha! That gets my vote as most wicked looking necker of the year. That is, if you decide to make it a necker.:D

Great job, buddy!

All the best,
