Yesterday I was using some Festool tools I bought late last year. These tools are great and allow hobbyist woodworkers like me to do a decent job. The tools are extremely well designed and are very accurate. Festool customer service gets rave reviews just like CRK customer service does. Festool gives you 30 days to return tools you bought for any reason if you are not happy.
Yesterday my 25 was in my pocket and helped out occasionally as needed. For some reason I began to think about how similar CRK and Festool are in some aspects (quality design, quality warranty, excellent customer service, etc). With both companies you pay a premium for the craftsmanship/quality. To me it is worth the spending the extra upfront for this level of design/quality/service after the sale. This got me curious about other companies which might have similar quality/service profiles. In your experience what other manufacturers (or service providers for that matter) have CRK like levels of design/quality/service?
