Hello, everyone,
I'm just kind of wondering what other knives you guys like to own.
Mods, If I'm out of line with this thread, please give me the axe, and accept my sincerest apologies,
Okay,
I just got a mini-Canadian in A2 from Bark River, great knife, and cheaper than a pepper shaker.
.
One that I would buy, if I weren't done buying knives right now is the limited edition Chris Reeve fighter that is a spin off of the Green Beret, created to honor a Special Forces soldier who died in the Middle East (I know that's vague, but check out CRK forum for details) I'd buy it because A) I really the Green Beret, and B) it's less common, so to me it's just cool if you own something that there aren't too many off. And S30V doesn't hurt either.

I'm waiting for a Fallkniven NL2, a Ranger Knives custom RD6 in 3V, and a Mission MPTS in A2.

I like to own and use high quality knives, and I'm happy to buy and use any knife made by a company/person who makes a quality product and demonstrates a sense of integrity.

I sold my SOG Bowie and Trident....big mistake. Those two are classics and I plan to get another pair.

Well I've been collecting knives for many years so I have many different makers.
Most of the knives I got before I started using Busse were Cold Steel, SOG, Ka-bar, Gerber, Glock, Spec-Plus and my trusty Spyderco folders.
As far as makers go I of course have a couple of Busse blades. ;)
I also have David Dempsey (SORT), Newt Livesay (Air Assault), Ranger Knives (All sizes of the RD line), Mission Knives (MPK in A-2), Bob Dozier (Bodyguard), Greco (don't know models), Strider (WP).
And we can't forget Swamp Rat. I replaced my Delica that's been in my pocket for almost 7 yrs with a Rat Trap.

A friend pointed out that regardless of whatever other knife I'm packing I also have a Busse with me. He of course thought it strange to carry more than one blade.
There are all kinds of blades out there. Many makers that create some awesome and functional tools. I happen to like Busse best but that doesn't mean we can't appreciate and use knives from other makers.

What about folders?
I know we'd all rather be carrying a Busse folder,
but for now, a couple big tough uns that I carry are
a really big Tops liner lock. Very nice, and unrated,
and it came with a really, really nice sheath.
I also have a Peter Beauchap Warlock dagger folder,
it's pretty big and hefty.

What about folders?

I alternate between an Al Mar SERE 2K and a Ka-Bar Mule. The SERE is a great folder, and the Mule is excellent value for money.

How is that Dempsey SORT, had thoughts of getting one. any thing to say about that one?

More Busses. Once I have every Busse in the world, I'll start collecting Mad Dogs, Striders and Brends.

I have only one knife that I would hate to lose almost as much as one of my Busses. It is a Bladerigger Arch Angel II. I also once intended to own a Dozier hunter, but the advent of the smaller, anorexic Busses has fulfilled this need totally.

I have four Buck 110's, a 112, 119, a few slip joints from Case and Camillus, Beckers, old and new. Swamp Rat Rat Tail and a Wally Hayes Tac-1, I got the Tac-1 thanks to Eric, Wally does great work. Several Jensen Elite Blades (thanks to gundy) and my ColdSteel Trailmaster. I keep it because it was my first big blade. Throw in some hawks and throwers and Ranger knives with a few Porters and some other Texas makers and that about rounds out my collection.

I personally have 1 Benchmade, 1 Camillus, 1 Spyderco, 1 Leatherman, 1 SRKW, and 1 Busse. As you can see, I quickly fell in love with quality knives, namly Busse. :D

Uhm, I have a few custom knives by Jens Ansø, a couple of Camillus' and a Fällkniven! Wait.....! I have a BM too! And a SAK!
