Hey all,
I was walking up the sidewalk to the local knife store (Tom's Cutlery) yesterday and passed a guy limping coming out. I didn't think anything of it and went inside. I started talking to Tom, the owner, and he was showing me some new stuff when he put some Cold Steel Ti Lites (I think that's what the model is called anyway) on the counter. I told him it really wasn't my thing and he started laughing and told me the guys story that just left.
The guy had originally come in looking for something else but he finally ended up with a Ti lite. Tom didn't see him for a couple of days until he came limping back in with this story.
He had taken his new knife home and was practicing the Wave opening and not really thinking about it. Well he opened it once and noticed the blade was only about half way open. He thought that was odd so he looked down and saw the huge gash in his pants. Well, he thought that was odd too cause it was starting to go red pretty quick. He had put an inch deep gash in his leg but said the knife was so sharp he didn't notice it til the red. Seems like he had to get a whole bunch of stitches (I was thinking 30 but that seems excessive now).
When I saw him leaving he had just bought two more for his friends cause he said they were the sharpest knives he'd ever handled.
True Story
Anywho, I thought that was funny as heck and funnier yet cause it wasn't me.
later,
Oily
