Hey guys and gals,

I am wondering if anyone can direct me to some new on-line sources for old pocket knives. I have favorites like ebay, vintageknives.com, knifeauction.com, bruce voyles and several others but there just has to been more. I would appreciate some help on this one. I collect only older Pennsylvania related pocket knives. "yeah I can hear you now. Like you never heard me mention that before" but I have a passion for them. I would love to know where you are finding these gems. ;) My heart pounds with excitment when I find that bone handled case brothers at the bottom of the cigar box. Thanks :)

Why yes indeed, I got a catalog from a company called Northwest Knives and Collectibles http://www.nwknives.com/, you'll pay every penny the knife is worth, maybe more, but it will be in the shape specified. They also have guys looking for specific pieces. I did see some cheap prices, but they were pretty beat up. Worth a shot. Too rich for my tastes...

This week I received three knives from Northwest Knives, my first time doing business with them. Their phone sales service was great and the prices were OK, not givaways, but I thought they were fair. Plenty of antique slipjoints in my price range - most of the slipjoints were under $50, many were $30 or less, and were excellent - near mint - mint. They don't have a huge selection, nothing like the old Cutting Edge, but if they have what you're looking for you won't be disappointed.

First knife, a mint 125OT in original box with factory papers for $25 - beautiful knife if you like Old Timers. The 125OT was discontinued years ago.
The other knives I ordered were two antique Bruckmanns. $35 each in mint condition. I love Bruckmann knives - I have six, and the quality of every one is perfect.

Good Luck in your search!
-Bob
