Other Student's Knife

good fotos, nice knife. like the fork handle. blade looks nice.. howzabouta closeup of the blade?

Nice, Tell Paul I envy him. Wish I could get up there myself.

One question though, what is that Girlie-Man bike in the background?

Polock, here is Mass. we call them lawnmowers. Are you still using goats in NY?????:D :D :D I know after they do your grass you stuff them into the cabbage. :rolleyes:OH!! I am sorry you mean the pic of the knife.:o :o :p

The sheep have other uses. Not my style but popular down south.

I'd rather get a Jap copy than a V-Rod. Use the left over money on some good leathers and lots of gas.

The V-Rods do not do anything for me.
Polock you just got to make time to come over.
You can make up 2 billets of damascus for $3.00. A roll of 1095 and bandsaw blades that Larry brought over.

In Maine too, right Dan.

I hear those long Maine winters are rough on the livestock.

IG,I should get up there soon, before it gets too cold, would have to be a Thursday or Friday, if that fits your schedule.I'm kind of tied up with some more ritual stuff right now, but the experience is good for my fit/finish practice. I have some flux and silver solder coming next week, so I will need to bead blast that too, The fool thing is sold (they didn't even ask how much, just said "I'll take it.) based only on my working sketch and the rough finished blade & guard. And a second shop is interested in those kind of "knives"

With my advancing years (and hairline) Those rice burners make a real smooth riding cruiser. alot cheaper than a real H-D too.
