I was just curious who has one? And what do you think of this particular knife? Looks like a great knife really like the sheepsfoot blade.

I have one. Cool little knife. "Pinshable" is an understatement :p. There's a video on YouTube in German that displays a nice collection. The guy in the video also showcase the various uses he has for the knife.

This one? (Even if you do not understand German, you can get the idea.):

Otter is not the only maker of this pattern, it is made in several countries as well (as said in the video).
A fancy rendition from le Thiernois:

I agree with Jolipapa. Here's a non-fancy rendition from J. J. Martinez in Spain:

I don't have an Anchor knife but I do have an Otter Sodbuster. F&F is excellent.

This knife is an OTTER-Messer knife with a sheepsfoot blade with wood covers. The knife's shield is a brass anchor. The blade is carbon steel yet the bolsters and liners are stainless steel as is the spring.

This knife was a gift from Humppa (Andi) - and old friend and longtime poster here at BF.

Love mine, it was a gift and I carry it every once in a way.

Thank you all for the info and video link. It was helpful. I went ahead and ordered one, I chose the large version 173 with a carbon blade.

It's a stout knife! They make their knives bit utilitarian in finish but well built. It sure wont feel flimsy!

My brother-in-law's father carried one while working ships in and out of NY from the time he mustered out of the Merchant Marine, not too long after WWII until passed away in the mid 1970's. It walked and talked with authority when he had me have a look at it a few years ago. It still had the anchor after all those years and a lot of hard use.
