I need this... to swing around the living room the next time I watch "Last of the Mohicans" on the tube.

I own sandlot slugger throwers, heavy, thick, long and wooden handles. But this looks attractive and threatening at the same time. Agile and sharpened head with composite handle with gripitudiness and lanyard hole. Perfect looking, fierce, weapon.

Anyone actually swing one of these in anger?

Funny, maybe not, I have two heavy hatches within easy reach of my side of the bed. I heat the house with wood (Vermont Castings "Defiant" woodstove) so I justify hatchets in the bedroom by imagining me chopping thru the wall or something similar when trapped in a house fire.

Anyway, if I can justify hatches in the BR I am on my way to justifying this brilliant gem of melee weaponry.

Is your model for home use or have you carried it (if carried then how do you carry it)?
