Dang it. My QCQ7 bit me. Me fault. Guess I'll be sporting one of my traditional slippies until me thumb is back in action.

Emersons will do that! I had a Horseman bite my knuckle this fall and I needed 6 stitches. Heal fast though!

If you bleed, you're probably a human. And that's a good thing, friend.
Heal quickly. Usually, ZDP blades nip at me more than other steels.

Don't feel bad. When I got married, my wife and I got a nice set of kitchen knives. She grew up with cheap dull knives and constantly was cutting herself with our new ones. I always gave her a hard time about being careful. Well, karma finally came back around. I ended up jabbing my thumb with my freshly sharpening buck 110. Luckily, the bone stopped it from going any deeper. :). A little peroxide and some superglue fixed it right up

Heck I can't even make it one day. I reversed the pocket clip on my Delica. Going to try it from the lefty side. I felt naked going out without a knife clipped in my front pocket.
