How many times have we been told...and have told our children...

NOT to run in the house? Did we always listen? Do they listen? Not always.
Sometimes our seemingly futile efforts fail, and 'boo-boo's' happen.

Here is a little guy who didn't listen, and he got his own souvenir scars.

Perhaps he'll learn from his mistake. Maybe....

Glad he's ok though and I really believe he won't be doing that again soon.

Still, could've been a whole lot worse though; an inch or two and it would've been optical nerve trauma or retinal damage

that even made my nose hurt. i had a popsicle stick poke through my soft pallet directly behind the hard pallet when i was about his age.

Yep, I had a friend who was prying something on his jeep with a phillips head screwdriver and it slipped and went up his nose and came out just below his eye, to this day he has the coolest X tattoo right there.
