Hey guys. I tried something a little different with our blog to see if it would be better for organization. I need everyone's feedback to see which version we want to stick with. Both are currently active so nothing that has been done thus far has been lost. Please view the two options below and then vote in the poll attached to this thread. Thanks for all the help. You guys ROCK! :thumbup:

OPTION 1 - (Original. Everything on one page.)

OPTION 2 - (Actually 4 pages. Welcome, Videos, Pictorials, and Links. More pages could be added in the future if needed.


If we end up going with "Option 2" I will get to work on the colors and making it a bit tighter. Thanks! :)
 
the secound is easyer to nav.
but i live the color and set up of the first aa litle better
just my 2cent
i love the page no matter how you set it up..............................

Good point. Option 2 is not finished. Just a rough template. I just wanted to see what it looked like to put the different topics on separate pages. We'll definately make whichever option we like the best feel like home. ;)


BTW: We could always come up with a different name if "THE EDGE" doesn't work. I just entered it so as to get the blog up and running. And at least it is something all our knives have in common. :D
 
I prefer the simple navigation of type 2, but the appearance of type 1.

Any page will be great though. Its a fantastic thing you are doing here.
 
I like the second better. Easier to navigate. :thumbup: Easy navigation on a web page is the key for a better user experience.

Great work on the the site bro :thumbup::thumbup:
 
Tyrkon--I LOVE IT!! Any way you go will be okay by me, but the second option just seems cleaner and easier to navigate. Thanks for the work you're doing!! :thumbup: :cool:
 
well ham i like num2 can't wait to see when you finish will go back no matter how you set it up.that page was just a unreal idea my dad builds pages like that and they are a lot of work cut paste so on it is very nice thing your doing for all us hogs that would like to see some hard use and that is inpressive throwing you do i and my father use throwing axes is not easy to stick one at the range your at.if someone hasn't seen the video they would never know that was coming...LOL
 
I voted option 2 as well, just easier to find stuff and it doesn't seem as cluttered.

Great work by the way!
 
I will be putting the kiddies to bed soon and then I will change the colors and such on Option 2 to those in Option 1. That way it will be easier to just focus on the difference between 1page -vs- 4 pages. Thanks. :)

might i add that those like me who sufer from dsl dreadfully slow line one page is just less loading time
 
I like #2 but with "The Edge" in red.
I would like to see the pic credit moved to the bottom of the page and smaller, or in a credit index for all contributors. Thanks for the intent;):thumbup:, but the design of the page is much stronger without my name getting in the way;):D.

You bet. I'm on it.

BTW: I tweaked some of the colors to look more like the original as people seem to like those more. Not done yet though. :)
 
mymindisamob: I will figure out something later but I moved your credit to the "LINKS" page. And I like "THE EDGE" better in red also. Good call! :)
