Here is our latest Viking Sword Ragnarok
A commissioned work inspired by a sword that is in the Reichsstadtmuseum of Rothenburg, a town of Ansbach district in the state of Bavaria.
Its a 9 or 10 century Viking sword and the ornamentation is based on the Oseberg style.
The blade was forged in 15n20 and 5160 steel. 57 Rockwell C
The measures are:
6 mm thickness to the cross, 2.5 mm at 20 mm of de point and 45 mm wide. Blade length 81 cm. The weight is 1300 grams.

Wow ! I didn't know the Vikings went south to Argentina !! LOL The first iron making in the new world was in upper Canada ,by the Vikings who settled there .

Just curious do you have more photos of the sheath, showing the core?

The scabbard is made of poplar wood wrapped in leather, bonded with adhesive and sewed...
