Howard, munk, Yvsa--you guys have been doing excellent work as moderators, and I just wanted to say thanks. You three have done a great job helping to keep the Cantina together. I know all of you have to be dealing with the emotional aspects of Bill and Rusty passing, but in spite of that, you have all managed to keep things running around here. Keep up the good work! :D
 
I'll second that:) The cantina has felt stable. Honestly, i didn't know how well things would go over, but you guys have done really well:) Thank you so much for putting forth such effort.

That's very kind of you, Josh. We're still learning. In case you wondered; Yvsa's the mean one, honest.

I'm trying to keep my posts and stories about the same as they were before. Some of you new guys may wonder, but yes, I really did write long threads with wandering prose before I was the munkerator.


Yvsa wants what is right, uses his good judgement and lays a foundation. Howard knows a lot of things, is hands on, and a great facilitator. And I try and offer insight to both of them and stay honest while I'm here.

This place is still running, and that's not about the moderators, that's about us. The House that Bill Built, eh?

It's waaaaaaaay too early to pass approval on these guys. They haven't even had to clean their uniforms yet. :p
 
Yes, thanks to the new Bartenders of the Cantina.

Getting drinks for this bunch won't be easy. Great job policing this mess so far, throwing out drunks, bums, trolls, people with Kraton® handled knives, overly opinionated gun nuts, etc.

It won't be easy. Especially when you know Bill is still watching.

This moderator team always has different viewpoints, but that can be a good thing. After pummelling each other for a while on an issue we usually reach a higher state of consciousness. (due to brain damage?) There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes. I've got over 200 e-mails in the HI folder I started when I took on this job, and that doesn't count the ones I sent.

We're learning as we go and y'all really do need to be thankful for Howard and Munk as Munk is spot on when he says I'm the mean one, but y'all already were aware of that ainnit? :p ;)
Hunh? :rolleyes: Howard must be emailing himself on the side as I only have 127 emails in my folder, but I suspected something weird might be going on with him early on; even though he does have our back.:rolleyes: ;) :)

And Hopefully, with y'alls help, we can continue to keep going along the same guidelines that Uncle Bill and Rusty set up for us.:D
Little Bro Rusty really knew people and I have the utmost respect for his judgement.
