If you look up you will see we added a new category. Tactics & Training.

Donna Barnas will be moderating the Filipino Combat Arts forum with Co-Moderator Wileen! Yes a tag team female duo!

So please welcome them aboard.

Also my long time friend, Bram Frank, will come on board after this weekend with a Knife Fighting forum of his own. In fact I will be training with Bram this weekend in NC. That should be fun, especially since all of my knife training has been defense and very little offense.

Bob Taylor brings us his extensive expertise in the newly named Practical Tactical forum. This will be the general forum for all tactical questions.

I think Sean's idea for an MT forum would work well on bladeforums. People are interested in learning about MT's products whether they buy them or not. Their is a wealth of knowledge out there, let's tap it.

Molly, Valmet was kidding. An MT forum on BF isn't possible. Can't discuss it public or private, you'll have to trust me on this one.

If Mike didn't buy Knifeforums (and I believe him when he says he didn't) then the most likely buyer is Microtech, I think.

However, MT never did and probably never will get involved in the forums, so I'd be surprised if MT was to buy KFC.; However, I understand why Mike might not be too interested in hosting an MT Forum here on BFC, so I'll just Dig Up the old MT List posts that I made here on the BFC Automatic Knife Forum, and I'll post the code for the lists there for now, as I've had several requests to do so.

All I need to know is if you have the blessing of Microtech. If so the MT forum can go up in minutes. This would be cool and you of course would make a great moderator. I already know about the behind the scenes issues at KFC so no need to hint at them. Call me tomorrow before 1PM as I will be heading to NC to work with Bram Frank at a knife fighting seminar. From what I know of Tony I doubt very seriously that he bought KFC. In fact he had never been on a forum until I talked him through it on the phone when I had Joel make a new MT logo. Tony has way too much to do and running a forum is the last thing I could think of him doing at this time. Making great knives is what he needs to be doing.

Dang, I'm getin' dizzy. Lookin' forward to when the dust settles.

While we're at it, could we moveThe Manufacturer, Distributor & Dealer Forum somewhere where us'un hoi polloi don't keep clicking on it ever'time its lamp is lit?
