We had Tyler, our 11 yo Havanese, put down today... He lost his battle with cancer (and many, many complications)..... It's good his suffering is over but we miss him. Wanted to let all my friends here know.

Ken

You have my condolences, I know what its like to loose a pet. Thanks for letting us know. If you decide to get a new dog be easy on em as they are never like the last.

Sorry to hear that:( I had to put my dog to sleep a year and a half ago. He was 18 years old. I got him when I was eleven years old - and we grew up together. I still miss my dog....:(

Sorry to hear about your puppy. I have a 10 year old dog that is slowing down. We are praying she makes it until our son gets out of High School. They really do become members of the family..........

Sorry to hear:( I have a Havanese, and i know just how special they are. I had to put both of my Rotties down(ages 10 and 11) last year so i know how hard it is. Take care.

Sorry to hear of your lose, you have my condolences, my feet are presently being warmed by the "replacement" for my 13 year old Dalmatian who passed a few years ago. I love my new dog but still miss the leaping lizard.

You'll know when it's time for another.

Thanks guys.... Tyler was a wonderful dog. He really was a member of this family. The house seems so empty..... His half brother (age 9) is even sad... He keeps looking for Ty..... Hopefully we'll have Tip for many more years but, right now, I doubt we'll be getting another dog any time soon. This whole thing has just ripped our hearts up....

Take care all,

Ken

had to put ''mopar "down in january for cancer-it was tough but i knew she was in some serious pain-
and her half brother roscoe was devistated for 6-8 weeks almost-just started to get back to normal-i still might pick up another dog because they do help each other stay happy from companionship

I know all too well what pain you're feeling.I had to put down 2 German Shephards within 3 years(one to Bloat -the other to Bone Cancer).

Remember all the good times you had--not the last few days!!

It's always sad to say goodbye to an old friend for good. Hang in there.

We lost my 15 year old Springer Spaniel, Bonnie In October last year and I still can't get used to her not being there running circles around me every time I walk outside with her. She was the center of many cherished family memories. You have my condolences and my best regards to your family.

Deep sorrow, my young friend.

I cannot be without a canine companion for more than a few days. Grew up a country boy in old, rural California...mud between my toes and a dog at my feet.

Much sympathy from my clan to yours.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Our dogs are family and are loved as children also. I have two goldens right now but my Newfie "Sisu" who we lost in 1994 still holds a special place in my heart. I still miss him. I know what you are going through. Time heals my friend, but you never forget! He'll be a part of you forever. Take care, remember, there are a lot of good folks here sending you well wishes!
