As I wrote a while back in a threat about custom knives, I like to use the services of our forum member whenever I can. While I sharpen most of my own knives, once in a while I get one that sort of overpowers me. When I do I send them to some of our guys here. Richard j has sharpened several for me and always does a super job.

I recently send a Game Warden to Knifenut to sharpen for me. The grind on this one was a bit uneven from the factory. Jason did a whale of a job on this knife, I hope he will, post the pictures as mine won't do justice to the job he did. From tip to handle, this thing will split hairs.

We are fortunate indeed to have these talented guys here, as most of you know, they not only do a great job but are happy to share their knowledge with the rest of us.

What I find so warm in cozy in BF is just that, these guys are willing to share their knowledge. There is no haughtiness at all. Richard J as well as Knifenut have taught me alot by their posts.

Hand convex with diamond hones, finished at 1 micron with a few passes at 0.5 for good measure. This was my first experience with INFI and I was really impressed, I've heard some say its like O1 and I will agree to the extent of it grinds like O1 but it gets sharp like M4. It has made me rethink the purchase of a busse ;)

I think my goal like others is to hopefully be able to pass on the knowledge so everyone can produce their own sharp knives. Thanks for all the kind words and I hope my postings here have helped someones sharpening ability in some way.
