We have been having quite a little heat wave this past week, was in the upper 80's today! (Apologies to those back east ) Great day for a hike near some water.

Thanks guys. Even for southern California, the recent weather has been really hot. Supposed to cool back down and have rain by mid-week.

Yep I debated on the Winkler for quite a while. It is larger and thicker to the knives that I now prefer, but his Hunter pattern kept nagging at me. I got it right around Christmas and have taken it out just about every weekend since then. The wide, flat ground blade actually makes it a nice slicer. I have been really happy with it!
