It always seems to rain on my days off and today was no different. Once I've dragged my ass out though I always enjoy it, in fact to me, many things actually look nicer in the rain.

The leaves of plants such as this Trillium appear more vibrant when wet !

Then there are always cool tracks to see, this is either someone wearing those Barefoot shoes or else Bigfoot ventured out this morning !!!

The colour of freshly cut wood is also more vivid when wet !

Some Wild edibles for ya, Fairyslippers~

Not much to eat when you consider how carefully you have to be to get the corm out of the ground. Tastes to me like white rice with butter on !

Maisy likes the Hendersons shooting stars !

The water was pretty deep for a little stream but very clear~

The wet of the PNW always looks better than when it is wet in my area. Here it makes everything look horrible. It makes everything there look awesome. Thanks for sharing the pics, Pit.

Looks like an Owl feather, but could be Hawk. Hard to tell wet. How are the mushrooms out that way?

May I ask what knife that is? It looks well loved

Looks like you are having as much weather we are here!

Thankfully I'm in work so its not ruining my days too much.

The colour of that stump looks amazing. I have some Yew sat outside that is going a lovely red.
My bro didn't believe it was from the same tree.

As for the Trilium; those translucent petals make it look like some ethereal, magical flower!
Far out.

I was wondering if you are still cutting about in your Buffalo jacket, or if its a bit too warm now?

A UK stockist has just started its sale on Buffalo and Snugpak clothing and they are decent offers. Made me look up some of your threads on their kit.

It's getting a bit too warm for my Buffalo DP stuff now but I nearly always pack my Windshirt along with me, I've even discovered we have a dealer in Canada !

That's my ' Woody ' knife from forum member Bryan Breeden, I love this knife so versatile. I've been using it as my only main blade for the past 5 months as part of a 6 month experiment.

Very cool and wet looking pics lol. You sure get your share of rain. I really like the knife on the stump too lol. That was cool.

Bryan

Thought it may be getting that way, despite the downpours.

Thanks for the tip....I shall research some more.
