Looks like I may be out on blade this year. Took a fall down a flight of stairs at work monday and tore my ankle up pretty good. I'm in a walking cast for now, but the Dr said I tore a tendon and may have to go in for surgery if it doesn't heal on it's own in the next few weeks. He said that I shouldn't count on any heavy walking, so blade is looking iffy at best.
 
A wheelchair would take up a lot of space at the front of the booth.

Can I stand directly behind you? :p

LOL. Thats exactly what I thought when I read it. Grab a wheelchair and get to Blade. I heard they have handicapped parking right in front of the trough.
 
Sounds like Hog-terfuge to me. He is letting the piglets and noobs think one of the big guys isn't going to be. Very smart Jay, you'll have the element of surprise.

Seriously, take it easy man being busted up is no fun.

Bad timing for a fall :( I bet you can rent a wheelchair pretty easy-like though. You could even get a souped up electric wheelchair with giant Mud tires and 4-wheel drive...run down a bunch of the other Hogs on your way to the trough.

When I was a kid we had an old neighbor lady with a souped up electric wheelchair....she could go faster than I could run, and do jumps off of ramps and whatnot...cool old lady.

Sorry to hear that you might not make it. I don't know if there is enough time to bulk up to fill your spot, but I'll try and fill the space. Maybe I can get help with Cobalt's big head and Tony's big wallet! :eek:

That sucks. I hope you get well soon and make it to blade. That open spot at the booth can probably fit 2 of me ;)
 
Jay, Sorry to hear about it! Better get that surgery to fix that up.....get some crutches and get your ass to BLADE! Or at least Fogos~!

Aaaaa, more like four of you Ban, I've met both of you.......
 
I'll know more in a few days... If I do have to go in for surgery it'll be a no go for sure. If I don't have to have surgery I'll come down for 1 day min
