I understand the question, but if we think about it, this is a large group.
Two things come to mind.
1. How do we police the legit from the non-legit. (I am not saying that Rat-30 is not legit. I am saying that if we open the door, abuse will arise.)
2. Do we really want to open the site, with a large base as we have, to these types of requests especially when they are non-knife related.
I think those are the main two reasons. There is no reason at all why friends here can not be contacted via P.M. or email to help out in things like this and to me that seems like a better option than to do it in public on a site dedicated to knife discussion.
