Out of place....

I was perusing the latest issue of Combat Knives recently and noticed something odd. On page 8 there is a picture of the Mission Knives line up. For some reason there is an Emerson La Griffe in the picture. I think somebody goofed.

I think they do mention the Emerson La Griffe either on the cover or in the table of contents. Probably a screw up.

They do a review of it later in the magazine (pp. 16-17). I'm guessing that they had a bunch of knives to photograph and a photographer that was not a knife person. The photograph does give a nice perspective of the Emerson made La Griffe next to the Mission Knives stuff.

I got mine at Krogers which is a grocery store chain. It is a special publication of Guns and Ammo so you should be able to find it where G and A is sold. My copy says display until Jan. 19, 2000 so you should still be able to find it. It is a decent but not stellar knife mag IMO.
