so i spent two day trying to figure out why i couldnt get my AR on target. not matter what i did at any distance i was hitting consistantly to the right. finaly i figured it had to be a problem with the sights (it couldnt possibly be me :) ) i took the flip up iron sights off and as i did i noticed something odd. turns out when i put on the forend the rail was missaligned so my front sight was on a completly different angle then the rear sight. this would explain why no matter how far i adjusted the windage on the rear i couldnt line them up. a few turns of an allen wrench and a level and the problem was solved everything lines up and im back on target. felt kinda dumb ha ha.

At least you figured it out. It sucks to send a firearm in for trouble shooting, only to find that a little more time and less money could have fixed it anyhow. Happy shooting!

All kidding aside, I'm relieved Beef discovered his problem.

Reminds me of the time a multi-hundred-million-dollar laser was disabled.

By a single human hair.

Imagine how hard THAT was to find.

Dyn-o-mite, there I said it too.

I too am glad Beef discovered his problem.

Good going Beef . Always feels good when you look closer and figure it out yourself .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

And the next time, you won't make that mistake. It's always good to be able to figure out the source of the problem and take the steps to fix it.
