Been having alot going on in my life the last few months. Getting ready for my daughter's wedding took most my time but at the sametime my barn/shop is being put back together. At one time I was going to do it myself but after alot of thought I decided to contract it out. Its been almost 14 months since the fire and I'm starting to see the end of the tunnel and hopefully most of the work will be done before the rain comes. Can't wait to get out of the little hole in the garage and have my own space.

I'm happy for you Ray! It's been a long haul for you. Nice building.

Looking good! I know what you've been through, my shop burned down a couple of years ago. It sucks, but you can rebuild it bigger and better:)

You do have another place to put the hay away from the shop, I would hope...
Good to see, Ray!

Howie, Unfortunatly it will be in the same building. There will be a solid wall running floor to roof with no openings plus the memory of the fire is going to stay in my head for along time.

you have been busy :) sweet...
Ray still nothing back from you know who..since our e-mail. I wonder if Dave got him.?? just a thought...I wonder if his lost it?? and yours? :(

Great to see it finally,Bet you cant wait to see it filled with your equipment:thumbup: :D

The shop is progressing real good. I framed a 9' X 12' clean room in one corner and plan to get it insulated and sheet rocked today. Got more lights and outlets than I'll ever need. Its looking like the first part of November I'll be somewhat moved in and back in business.

Guess I never did mention my daughter married a native Japenese fellow. She's been living and working in Tokyo for the last 7 years. Two weeks after the wedding here we went to the reception in Tokyo. Other than the Twilight Zone flight to Tokyo the reception was great and I got to see my daughter in her Japenese enviroment. They will be living just outside of Tokyo. Here's a link to the photo's my son took while we were there if your interested: http://www.flickr.com/photos/justderrak/

Ray:

Nice photos. Brings back memories of when I was in Japan, back in 66-67.

Lovely daughter. Thank goodness she takes after her mother.:D

You looked like you had rather be pounding on steel in those photos. I know the feeling. I had to travel to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and don the monkey suit for my daughter's wedding a few short years ago. Glad when it was over, but she got a pretty good guy, so I guess it worked out "A-OK".

Glad to hear that you are finally about to get into your new shop.

Your pal....... Robert
