Didn't expect it at all. Peruna1998 asked for my address, but I never thought he would send me such a gift! Much more than a token, this is a brilliant knife, enough to make a grizzled, old, cynical collector shed a tear or two!:o
Stamped "Made in U.S.A.", and etched "trade ULSTER mark", maybe someone can date it for me? Wartime?

Faded dye on the Rogers-style jigging at the mark side (front), possibly from being on display, the pile side is a nice dark brown, and the blades are full! Nice and snappy, it is a joy to CE and CF!!:eek:

Thanks Wayne!! You are most generous!!:thumbup:

Congratulations Charlie ! :cool:
That is a piece worthy of your collection! :thumbup:

Great Job Wayne!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Fantastic knife in lovely condition :) Congratulations Charlie, and well done Peruna, very generous of you :thumbup:

Those blades look to be in incredible shape! Congrats on the addition. Good on you, Peruna1998!

Outstanding!

full blades, etch intact, gorgeous bone! So much to drool about on that knife.

Looks like Wayne is trying to seed the next forum knife, LOL. Amazing generosity, and certainly a worthy receipient!

If I were only so smart, Glen. Honestly, I was just sending a token of thanks for all the work and education Charlie has provided these years

:love-struck:
High praise to you Mr. Peruna1998!! That's a mighty fine knife. What great shape it's in, love that the etch is still in such good condition.

Congratulations on that superb old Ulster, Charlie! :cool::cool:

Still amazing, buddy!

Fantastic bone on that one, don't mind the lighter colour either:D:D Given the general appearance of the knife, very little use, I think you must be right about it being grilled in the sun, sunny side up....

Very kind act.

Thanks, Will
