Well , probably still my No1 is my 1st Marttiini 7
It's not heavy , it's a very nice pocket knife , and best of all .... My first one scored a 650 on the rope slice !
I was so amazed I had to buy another ... Which was no where near as good , I mean , no where near ! ( Another ball park on the other side of town - not near )

Real Steel Luna Lite - Love the concept ! , mine only scored a 350 on the rope slice which is not quite there for D2 ( For me ) ..
So a little disappointed with the performance , but love everything else about the knife .

Columbia SA39 fixed blade - ( 3cr13mov some claim ) .... A really nice fixed blade knife .. Once mated to a leather sheath ...... Fantastic .
Performance on a reground edge is 500+ , 500+ because my hand suffered fatigue after 500 slices of rope , not the knife ! So the actual score would be north of 500 for edge retention .
U might think this knife a fluke ? But I own 4 SA39 knives , and all are 500+ .. I also own a SA40 which is 500+ ....
Those SA39's were $25 bananas to my door .. ( I kid you not ) That's insane value for money .. I got a hell of a lot more than what I payed for ..
Maybe the universe was compensating me for all the rubbish knives I got ???

Those would be my top 3 at the moment ... Favs

I can go with a Top 5...
1. Olamic Wayfarer 247.
Too pretty, and too tough; to not make the list
2. Benchmade Osborne 940-1
Slick action, tough steel, and very comfortable to carry and use.
3. CRK Mnandi
The perfect Gentleman's edc
4. Benchmade Mini-Bugout
Super fidgety and fun
5. WE Vapor
All the right stuff; with a snappy action

Here you are sir.

In no particular order…

Spyderco Chaparral- fits my hand perfectly, looks semi-gentlemanly, and I have found that cts-xhp is probably my favorite stainless.

Spyderco UKPK Salt- also fits my hand perfectly, I live at the beach, so it’s nice to have something that’s basically zero maintenance that I can have in and around the ocean. And Lc200n is probably my second favorite stainless.

Buck 112 slim select- classic look in lighter materials, love Buck’s 420hc for ease of maintenance and durability, and it just cuts well.

Esee candiru- the size is perfect for me to carry in a pocket, regardless of what I’m wearing. Its a fixed blade knife that anyone could carry in any environment and fixed blades are always my preference. It’s just an extremely handy knife. Esse’s 1095 “just works” well for me and the knife is relatively inexpensive.

Becker BK14- 1095 cro-van is probably my favorite steel. Bk14 works better for me than the Izula, but I see the two knives as fairly interchangeable. I love the smaller fixed blades for ease of carry and lots of other reasons, so this one is at the top of the list.

My new LT Wright Frontier First in 3v may jump on this list soon, but I’ve not had enough time to play with it yet.

Honorable mentions- Esee izula, Bk11, Kabar Dozier, Ontario Rat, Spyderco Delica.

I’m a simple guy, I like simple steel(with a couple exceptions above) and simple designs. I tend to enjoy my knives that are under the $150 mark, above is diminishing returns for my needs.
