Went rabbit hunting today, last time I went was 5-6 yrs ago. A friend of mine has some beagles, and invited me to go. It wasn't very productive, only rabbits I saw were ones I jumped up. The dogs never got a good run in today, but apparently yesterday they ran about all day long.
We hunted on Peabody WMA - owned by a coal co. and leased to the state. So it's all reclaimed strip mines. Here is a couple photos of it. The stacks are Paradise- a coal power plant.
Here is my friend w/beagles, he owns the walnut handled Ky Woodsman.
I used my pack knife today.
Can't wait for my Ky Fieldmate to get here and put it to use.
