I am really really sick. I'm trying to get over it as fast as I can, but whatever this is has just absolutely whiped me out. I'm being kind of slow getting back to people's emails and getting work done, but I wanted you guys to know that I'm not ignoring anybody, just moving at a snail's pace. ...a sick snail. ......a really like "holy sh$t I'm sick" sick snail.

By the way, has anyone ever had a throat so sore and gunked up that every time they sneeze, talk to long, try to drink something, etc. it triggers dryheaving? I feel like a little kid with strep throat or something. lol

Sorry to hear, brother. Get it checked out. Hell, I had a real bad case of strep a few years ago. Closed my throat up pretty bad and made it take effort to breath at times. Rest up, dude. I'll handle the boozing while you're sick.

My sister and I have had strep a bunch of times (mostly when we were kids) I remember spitting into a plastic coolwhip bowl when I was around 8 because I couldn't swallow. But out of all the times I have had it I have never dry heaved. My god THAT WOULD BE AWFULL!

Just step back, take your time, hydrate ... maybe even lay down and sleep.

We will all be here when you get back. There is no need to flog yourself when you're sick.:o

(and get better too, take your time, there is no way I'm spending my money's on anything else; it will be here waiting for when you get back.

Seriously? With Andy away on vacation, you could be doing all kinds of crazy stuff at the shop - and you choose sick? That's messed up! ;) Hope you get better quickly. Cayenne and honey mixed in hot water - it'll cure what ails you. Throw in a swig of apple cider vinegar periodically, too. :)
 
Feel better Dylan. I can sympathize. I just got over pneumonia. Rest and don't let it get too far gone. Once you're healthy we all expect you to bust your ass and make up for it!!!!

(Sorry ... I know I'm a dumb ass but where are the smileys you guys are posting?)
 
Well I couldn't just sit and do nothing today. Got about halfway through building my display for Blade Show. I'm doing it at home so I can rest and lay down on the couch when I need to. I'll have to post some pictures of this thing tomorrow when I finish it. It's 8' long, 2' wide, giant tiered structure. Very cool so far.
