Just a few pics from our hike today~

The weather is starting to drop cooler especially on coastal trails so the dogs had their coats on !

A pic of a Petroglyph.....they think it's supposed to be a seal !

I think these are Evergreen Huckleberries~

On the interior trail leading back to the parking lot the signs of recent strong winds were obvious, this is the main trail !

Indeed they are Vaccinium ovatum aka Evergreen Huckleberry. After the first frost they start tasting better and the black bears generally find them irresistable. I was up your neck of the woods recently on a business trip and I took my clients to a good overwatch where we could watch the black bears coming out of the timber near the shoreline to munch on them. You have a beautiful country.

Still have greenery... I love the green color, but I really do enjoy having the winter coming up. I am outside most during the winter time.
