Out with a new hiking buddy today !

After finding out one of the newer guys at work was into the outdoor stuff I asked him along for a hike today, didn't take too many pics but had a good day and he says he might join the forum so I'll keep ya posted !

When we got back to his truck my mate showed me some of his kit, what would ya know he had a Tracker !!!

I already know the winner there! Pit's is tweaked in all the right ways!
Your buddies hatchet is a great one! I used to have one of those, I gave it to a good friend who was into snowmobiling a lot, and I threw it in his sleds trunk with a small survival kit I made for him. He was going out in some tough weather with a pack of smokes and a bic lighter! Don't worry, I read him the riot act!

Yeah that's a good idea, maybe I'll take mine next time we meet so we can compare the standard edge with the convexed.
He wants me to show him more traps so that would be a great chance carving trap triggers etc !


His has more cred than mine though as it went to Afghanistan !!!
 
Man, I'd love to hike that area! I've been thinking about picking up a Tracker just to see what it's like.

I know what you mean. It's just a really cool looking knife.

Hey Pit I was going to say he can't join unless he's knife crazed like the rest of us then at the end of your post there's the tracker. LOL What kind of fanny pack you got there?

That is my mate in the pic not me. I think that was just his jacket. He left all his kit back in his truck !!!
 
Great pics, man that is cool that he has a tracker knife too lol. What are the odds lol.
