I think I'm finally getting my outdoor Mojo back, today was the first time in weeks that I've really enjoyed messing about in the woods.
First thing I noticed today was the amazing smell of the blossom on these plum trees. When the plums come they are quite small but taste great...really good bush tucker !

I practiced with the spear trap idea again and lashed two saplings together to see if this would generate more power, it did seem better but after constructing the trap realised that my placement was wrong and I didn't have a tree to attach the trip wire to.....sometimes wonder where my heads at !!!

I came across an Apache throwing star that I'd made a while back, it seemed to be holding up well, here it is with my tools of the day......

The Western White Fawn Lilies were coming into bloom as well, from what I understand a tea can be made from the leaves to be used as an antiseptic wash for cuts and scrapes. The bulbs can also be eaten raw or cooked.
