Spotted this Wood ants nest, didn't hang about too long !





Maisy was with us but she didn't stand still long enough for any decent pics, Snicker however is always willing to pose !

 
Thanks for taking us along. Wild looking fallen timber, don't think I have seen anything close to resembling that, but I am in Cincinnati too. Looks like a great dog. Thanks for posting this, I love these types of threads.:thumbup:
 
Grab that sun while you can, I hear that it rains now and then on the left coast. :)

Old growth forests are amazing. Everyone should see them at least once.

Always beautiful!

I have been off work all week and it has been in the upper 90's here and DRY.

We finally got a little rain and it is only 70 here today - perfect!

I am going for a hike tomorrow - hopefully I get some great pictures!
