Out with my Knatchet !

Dragged my ass outta bed this morning so I could have a cuppa with Mrs Pit before she left for work, I then grabbed some kit and headed out myself !

I knew I'd make a fire today so when I spotted some fatwood I decided to get some.......

I soon made it down to the Inlet, man it looked nice this morning.....

As I gazed out I wished I could have beamed y'all down here to share the view with me rather than just see it through my camera lens !

I found myself a nice spot to make a fire, Maisy checked out my bottle pouch as I gathered tinder.....

Tinder all ready....

3rd strike and I had fire...

I've been working John, this was the first chance I've had to get out with it !

Just to show my Knatchet does more than just chop stuff I started to rough out a large camp spoon this afternoon( I should add my spoons look rough even with a dedicated buchcraft knife !).

That's a cool blade - I like seeing you put them to use! Have you posed a pic of the sheath? I may have missed it.
