Out with my pooches today !

The main parking area to my local hiking area is closed this time of year, there is a a back way but boy is it steep !
I kept the beast On leash going up to give me some assistance.....I mean to give her more exercise, like I need assistance pfft !



Eventually made it to the highest viewpoint !



Time for some well earned Scooby snacks !



Even found the girls a nice watering hole .



My pack today was my Maxpedition proteus and my knife a Swamp warden.



I had a well earned coffee before heading back.

 
Anyone who eats Scooby snacks in front of a hungry dog that just hauled them up a mountainside ... needs sensitivity training. :D

Love the hiking, beach running and pooch posts! You truly are the person your dog thinks you are.

I used to run around up there in my bare feet as a kid. Lived on that mt side literally. I was the second highest house facing the Brentwood bay side. Right next to the big grey one that stands out like a sore thumb. Your post almost make me miss home. Then I remember the cost of living in such a place. Actually my first dogs ashes where left to the breeze where you are standing. She loved it as much as your dogs Im sure

I know the house you are talking about, awesome views, where do you live now ?
 
I live in the Cariboo (150 Mile house BC) My parents live In the valley now (I moved to that house at 16 ) It stares back at my old place on the hill.

Only reason I moved is you wouldn't believe what I bought for the same price as what a small apartment would cost in Vic. and the scenery here is outstanding as well.
