I made this sheath a couple of months ago (maybe 4) Its the first sheath I ever made for my SAK (hercules) extensive use showed several flaws over time, mainly the belt loop was too thin (5/8) and was starting to tear. here a some pics.

Bottom (at the time it was the neatest solution I thought of to solve the dramatic curve in the leather)
When outdoors and/or fooling around with my firesteel I havent got anywhere convienient to place it so I decided to include a firesteel loop on this sheath.
The belt loop is a very snug fit on a 1 1/2 belt.
