outdoor edge knives?

I keep seeing these knives at my local big box store and I am wondering if they are any good at all. The package says AUS8 steel so it started to make me wonder if it would make a decent dirty job knife. Thanks for any input

I've got several, and not a bad one in the bunch. Their AUS8 holds an edge and I've not had one yet that wasn't razor sharp out of the box.
